Brookie's story: Brooklynn Jean entered this world Nov 2nd, 2021 @ 1:25am.. breech baby, planned C-section, and decided to come on her own 2 days early. At birth we found out she was born without her left limb below her elbow. It is called a congenital limb difference, and apparently happens to 1 out of every 10,000 babies. The cause is unknown. This through us in a bit of shock, since I had 10+ ultrasounds by 4 different providers and it wasn't caught by anyone. We took guidance and solace through the Lucky Fin Organization, which educates and supports families with limb differences and now gave us an extended family. Now this leads to her new venture, of Brooklynn's Bows to help fund her future Hero Arm!

Now what is a HeroArm? A hero arm truly is what it’s called, created by Open Bionics it is an advanced, lightweight, 3D printed bionic arm that will have full functionality.
